LINNE's admiration and respect of the wild is evident in the naming of the NOURISH lip balm colorways. The untinted balm DENALI, is named after the highest mountain peak in North America. The dusty nude is named ATACAMA for the famous Chilean desert, and the berry tone, is named TEKAPO, for the Lake in New Zealand known for its abundant blooms of lupine flowers. LAC ROSE, a dusty rose with copper shimmer is named after the salt lake in Senegal that is pink due to the presence of Dunaliella salina algae. And the pale peach, fortified with zinc is named LAGUNA after Laguna Colorada, a shallow salt lake in the southwest of the altiplano of Bolivia. Folklore suggests the water is actually the blood of the gods, though scientists believe the colour comes from the algae and rich minerals in the water.
